Friday night we had a nice writing group. A couple of people shared their writing and we gave feedback. We talked and caught up a bit (it's been a couple of weeks since our last meeting). And I did get some writing done.
Thank you, Friday night writers!
Today, Saturday 12/21/13, is the Winter Solstice. There are many videos across the Internet, and here is one example:
Creative Adventurer: I'm a writer who can often be found in cafes at odd hours with a latte and a laptop (during the pandemic my living room replaces the cafe), or with pen and paper in the car between gigs (alone time in the car still happens, the in-person gigs are on hold). I'm a sign language interpreter whose passion is performance interpreting, which integrates years of theatrical experience, creativity, and interpreting (all of which is virtual during the pandemic). I am also a writing facilitator and peer editor, performance interpreting mentor, and performance & literary event interpreting coordinator.

This space was originally used to share various Contact Improv videos. I decided to widen the range of shared videos beyond CI, which will continue to be included, I'm sure.
This video is from Deaf rapper, Wawa. He is an amazing artist and, as he likes to say: Sho Sum Luv! You can see more about him and his music at Wawa's World
"A gift for YOU! I pick this song to celebrate my birthday and celebrate with YOU! It’s not the best of ASL but, DANG, I was feelin this song! I feel this song should be a world wide anthem ."
